General Privacy Policy
Who we are
Quinn Premier Properties Ltd is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. Our registered contact address is Flat 24, Broadway House, 3 High Street, Bromley, BR1 1AH, and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZB777011.
What personal data we collect
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Account details, such as your username and a securely hashed password.
- Billing and transaction details, such as your billing address and payment records.
- Technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, time zone and the pages you view.
- Correspondence, such as messages you send through our contact form.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
- To create and manage your account and provide your membership (performance of a contract).
- To take payment and keep the financial records we are required to hold (contract and legal obligation).
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support (legitimate interests).
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud and spam (legitimate interests).
- To send you service emails about your account, orders or membership (contract).
- To send marketing only where you have agreed to receive it (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary to run the site: with our payment gateway to process payments, our hosting and email providers to operate the service, and Google for spam protection (reCAPTCHA) and analytics. We may also share information where the law requires it, for example with HMRC or in response to a lawful request. We never sell your personal data.
How we protect your data
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, passwords are stored in hashed form, access to admin systems is restricted, and we use reputable providers to process payments so that full card details never touch our own servers.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. Payment and invoice records are kept for up to 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting obligations (HMRC). Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to resolve them. Some providers we use may process data outside the UK; where that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
WordPress
This website is built on WordPress. Our website address is https://quinnpremierproperties.com. WordPress stores the information below to make core features of the site work.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Embedded content from other websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you had visited the other website. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third party tracking and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Password resets
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Your rights over this data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes. Details of the cookies WordPress sets are in the Cookies section below.
Paid Memberships Pro
We use Paid Memberships Pro to manage registration, membership levels, subscriptions and billing. It processes the following data to manage your membership.
Account and checkout information
At checkout, we collect your name, email address, username and password. This information is used to set up your account for our site. If you are redirected to an offsite payment gateway to complete your payment, we may store this information in a temporary session variable so we can set up your account when you return to our site.
Billing information
At checkout, we may also collect your billing address and phone number. This information is used to confirm your payment card. The billing address and phone number are saved by our site to prepopulate the checkout form for future purchases and so we can get in touch with you if needed to discuss your order.
Payment card details
At checkout, we may also collect your card number, expiration date and security code. This information is passed to our payment gateway to process your purchase. The last 4 digits of your card number and the expiration date are saved by our site for reference and so we can email you if your card will expire before the next recurring payment. Your full card number is never stored on our servers.
Activity and email logs
When you are logged in, we use cookies to track some of your activity on our site, including logins, visits and page views. We also maintain logs of transactional emails sent to you for operational and support purposes. These logs include the email content, recipient address, subject line and delivery status. If you request deletion of your personal data, all email log entries associated with your account will be permanently removed.
LiteSpeed Cache
This site uses caching to provide a faster response time and a better user experience. Caching works by keeping a temporary duplicate copy of the web pages on display, so they can be served quickly without being rebuilt for every visitor.
All cache files are temporary and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may be purged by the administrator before their natural expiration if necessary.
We may use QUIC.cloud services to process and cache your data temporarily. Please see the QUIC.cloud privacy policy for more details.
AI Services
Our deal analyser tools include optional AI-assisted market research, which members can use to generate market rent estimates and nightly rate estimates for an area.
What information is processed
When you use this feature, only the property details you enter into the tool, such as the location or postcode area and the property type, are sent to the AI service to generate the estimate. Your name, email address, account details and payment information are not sent to any AI provider.
How long it is retained
We do not store your AI research queries on our servers beyond producing the result you asked for. Report branding you add to the analysers, such as your company name and logo, is saved in your own browser rather than on our systems.
Safeguards
Requests are sent over encrypted connections, contain the minimum information needed to produce an estimate, and include no personal identifiers. The third party AI providers we use process requests under their own privacy policies. Figures produced by these tools are estimates to support your own research and should not be treated as financial advice.
Cookies
Cookies are small data files placed on your device. This site uses the following types.
Essential cookies
- If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie checks whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
- When you log in, cookies save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
- If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies for convenience. These last for one year.
- If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie stores the post ID of the article you edited. It contains no personal data and expires after one day.
Membership cookies
When you are logged in, Paid Memberships Pro uses cookies to track some of your activity, including logins, visits and page views, so your membership works correctly.
Performance cookies
LiteSpeed Cache may set cookies to make sure you are served the correct version of a page, for example so logged-in members are not shown cached public pages.
Security cookies
Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which sets cookies to help distinguish people from automated bots. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. To learn more, visit allaboutcookies.org. Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or completing checkout.
Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive at the site and general location derived from IP address. We use this information in aggregate to improve the site, relying on our legitimate interests as the lawful basis. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally.
You can read more about how Google uses this information in the Google Privacy Policy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
